Are You Saved?

Do you know Jesus Christ?

The Bible says that God loves us and cares for us. However, you and I, all of us, are sinners. We have all broken the laws of God and there’s a penalty for that. The wages, the just penalty of sin, is death. That means that we are separated from God because of our sin.

Here is the good news!

God loved us so much he could not leave us separated from Him, so He sent His son, Jesus Christ to pay for our sins. To offer us salvation. Jesus was born of a virgin, and he was miraculously, free from a sinful nature like you and I have. The Bible tells us that He was tempted in every way just like us, but not one time did He yield to temptations: He never sinned. He went to the cross, and even though He was the sinless son of God, He died in your place and in my place as an atoning sacrifice to pay our sin debt. He paid a debt He did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay. Are you saved?
Jesus stayed on the cross until He could say “it is finished!” Your sin debt was paid in full. He was buried to prove that He was really dead, but then on that third day Jesus rose bodily from the grave.
Now He offers you and I, the gift of eternal life.

How Can we be saved?

While it has the most amazing benefits and seems like a very complicated process, being saved is the simplest thing we can ever do.
It is truly as simple as; Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Believe that he was sent here to pay for our sins and that he did so by sacrificing his life on the Cross. Believe that he was risen from the dead and has ascended into Heaven. Believe these things with all of your heart, soul and mind. Then simply ask (with a pure and true heart) him to forgive your confessed sins and be your Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9-13

9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

John 3:15-18

15. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
